**Job Summary:** 35-37 hours per week.
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Disability Support Worker.
The ideal candidate should have experience in providing compassionate care and assistance to those in need
**Duties:**
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Implement behavior management strategies to support individuals with challenging behaviors
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Have a positive attitude to support the delivery of an action packed week.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in disability support, supported living, day opportunities
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures, moving and handling, PBM/PBS and all other industry related training.
- Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license for transportation (MUST BE OVER 21 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE HELD DRIVING LICENCE FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO DRIVE WAV'S)
