SUMMARY
The general production employee is responsible for the assembly of products throughout the production area, ensuring that product is assembled as per applicable specifications and requirements. This is a Fixed-Term Contract.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Communication skills; Ability to communicate with peers, superiors, and management.
- Willingness to obtain knowledge of product and process.
- Ability to follow directives as set y superiors and/or management.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Must be a team player.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to read and interpret strict process instructions and guidelines to ensure compliant product is manufactured to specification.
- Work as part of a team and be flexible to work on all lines as required
- Industry experience in a manufacturing company and/or with Bills of Material preferred.
- Good Hand / Eye co-ordination
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Ensure that all Customer specifications have been met.
Complete all production department documentation and work instructions to Apollo, OEM & AS9100 standard.
Ensure that the production department is completely free from late orders at the end of the day.
Maintain your work area in a clean and orderly manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Some manual lifting up to 20kgs.
- Repetitive detailed work
- Be able to reach over shoulder to top shelf of inventory bays in warehouse with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool.

- Clean, dry and free from dirt/dust.
