We are looking for a Senior Carer to join our friendly team. We provide person centred care for 17 elderly people with Dementia. Above average staffing levels are in place so that staff have time to spend with Residents. At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred and experience of administering medication. Must be patient and kind and have a sympathetic nature. £12.90 per hour. Hours are 7am to 2pm (early) and 2pm to 9pm (late), five days per week on a rota basis, with every other weekend off. 34 hours per week full time. Applicants must be able to work a mixture of shifts. 5.6 weeks holiday per year and uniform provided. Friendly working environment and a good work/life balance. Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with health regulations.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document residents' health and well being, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and clean environment for all residents.
