Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Bulk Blower Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles to transport bulk materials efficiently and safely. This role requires a dedicated individual with a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations. Collecting feed products from various locations and delivering to farms / Mills across the UK. We are currently looking for a HGV C+E or C driver to join the team. We have the option for tramping a position or occasional nights out as required.
Responsibilities
- Operate specialised bulk blower vehicles, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Safely load, secure, and deliver bulk materials to designated sites, ensuring the integrity of the load throughout transit.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each journey undertaken.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards during loading, transit, and unloading processes.
- Assist with loading and unloading operations when necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver within a bulk or agricultural environment.
- Valid HGV licence with relevant categories for C or C+E.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial vehicle operation.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and responsibly.
- Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients professionally. This role is ideal for a motivated driver looking to utilise their expertise in bulk transport while maintaining high standards of safety and service delivery.
Pay: From £48,000.00 per year
