Join the University of Plymouth's Apprenticeship and Skills Hub and play a vital role in supporting apprentices as they progress towards Apprenticeship Assessment, the final stage of their apprenticeship journey.
About the role
Reporting to the End Point Assessment Manager and working as part of the Apprenticeship and Skills Hub, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the University's Apprenticeship Assessment processes.
You will work closely with colleagues across faculties, apprentices, employers and End Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs), helping to coordinate activities and maintain accurate records while delivering an excellent stakeholder experience. Other duties include:
- Manage and respond to enquiries received through the Apprenticeship Assessment inbox and other communication channels.
- Maintain Apprenticeship Assessment trackers, digital records and SharePoint sites to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate documentation and apprentice records, including preparing transcripts and supporting evidence for submission to EPAOs.
- Support the scheduling and organisation of Apprenticeship Assessments, meetings and associated activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the University and external partners to communicate key Apprenticeship Assessment milestones and timelines.

For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.You will demonstrate:
- Experience working in an administrative or customer service environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, databases and digital systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks, work collaboratively and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- You will also have numeracy and literacy skills at secondary education level, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
