H& P Freightways LTD are looking for a Steam Bay Operator to join their team in Grimsby
Your duties will encompass the three areas of the yard; heating/steaming containers, maintenance/repair and lifting and storage.
Duties Include:
- Operating a heavy lifter to organise containers in storage and onto vehicles.
- Complete yard checks to maintain order and complete comprehensive lists of containers.
- Heating containers containing different substances and following the safety data sheets provided by customers
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
Forklift licence and Empty Handler licence would be advantageous however training will be provided if necessary.
Working at Height, Manual Handling and Confined Spaces qualification would be advantageous however training will be given.
Computer literacy is essential.

Working pattern is as follows:
Week One: 06:00 - 16:00
Week Two: 12:00 - 22:00
50 hour weeks.
22 Days holidays per year plus 8 Days Bank holidays.
