Dental Hygienist – Ystradgynlais Dental Practice
Ystradgynlais Dental Practice is a mixed NHS/Private practice located in the heart of Ystradgynlais. We are a supportive, forward-thinking and community-focused practice with an expanding private patient base. We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and experienced clinical team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Hygienist to work within a modern, fully equipped practice that places a strong emphasis on preventive dentistry and patient education. You will work closely with our Dentists, Dental Therapists, Oral Health Advisors and Nursing staff to deliver high-quality periodontal and preventive care.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hygiene and periodontal treatment
- Deliver oral health education tailored to individual patient needs
- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Help support and promote preventive dentistry within the practice
Candidate Requirements
- GDC-registered Dental Hygienist
- Confident in all aspects of hygiene and periodontal therapy
- Professional, patient-focused, and reliable
- Comfortable working within a mixed NHS/Private practice
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
