Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented GOC-registered Dispensing Optician to join our dynamic optical team. In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between patients and their vision care needs, expertly assisting with frame selection, lens options, and fitting procedures.

We treat each patient with the best care, therefore we dispense with DOs only and we allocate appropriate time. We have an experienced team happy working together. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and guide them through the process of selecting eyewear that suits their style, needs, and budget.
- Measure and record accurate pupillary distances and other vital measurements to ensure proper lens fitting.
- Assist in explaining different lens types, coatings, and frame features to help patients make informed choices.
- Prepare eyewear orders by verifying prescriptions, selecting appropriate lenses, and coordinating with laboratories for fabrication.
- Conduct thorough fittings of eyewear, ensuring comfort, proper alignment, and optimal visual performance.
- Maintain detailed records of patient prescriptions, measurements, and service history for future reference.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to deliver seamless patient care and support clinic operations.
Experience
- Enthusiastic, genuine passion for dispensing and helping patient find the right type of prescription lenses and eyewear.
- Understands the balance of practice performance and patient care
- Strives working in an experienced and friendly team
- Has the confidence and initiative to contribute ideas and help us continually improve the qualify of our service and dispensing.
Pay: £31,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
