Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and helping the kitchen staff as needed. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field within a restaurant or hotel setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept tidy and hygienic at all times
- Help with the storage and organisation of food supplies and ingredients
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling practices are followed
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
