We are looking for a reliable and motivated Apprentice Roofer to join our team, specialising in the installation of solar panels.
No previous roofing or solar installation experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will work alongside an experienced supervisor who will guide you through all aspects of the role and help you develop your skills.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial roofs
- Learning safe roofing and working-at-height procedures
- Carrying tools, equipment and materials
- Preparing roofs for solar panel installation
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Following instructions from your supervisor
- Attending any required training courses
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors and at height
- Physically fit and able to carry equipment
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and responsible
- Polite and professional when working at customers’ properties
A driving licence is helpful but not essential.
