We are looking for a Locum Pharmacist ( one day a week) to join our dynamic healthcare team , where you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, effective, and personalized medication management for our diverse community. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will combine your expertise in medication therapy with exceptional customer service skills to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal regulations
- Provide expert consultation to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records using advanced pharmacy IT systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapies and resolve any issues promptly
- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold high standards of service, accuracy, and professionalism
- Manage inventory levels efficiently, ensuring the availability of essential medications while minimizing waste
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing patient inquiries with clarity and empathy, fostering trust and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction with current registration
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information clearly and compassionately
- Proven leadership abilities with experience guiding or supervising pharmacy teams
- Proficiency in pharmacy IT systems and familiarity with digital health tools
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening capabilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in community or hospital pharmacy settings is preferred but not required
