About Us
We are a busy and growing commercial vehicle garage providing maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and inspections for a wide range of commercial vehicles. We are looking for a professional, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to become the first point of contact for our customers and support the day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries
- Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing schedules
- Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
- Processing invoices, quotations, and administrative paperwork
- Managing customer communications through phone, email, and social media
- Assisting with marketing activities and social media content
- Liaising with workshop staff to provide updates to customers
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Requirements (Essential):
- Experience within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of vehicles and vehicle maintenance
- Previous customer service or customer experience role
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and positive attitude
Preferred:
- Experience using workshop management or scheduling software
- Understanding of commercial vehicle operations and servicing
