Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable upon arrival
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when required
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all duties
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Support barista duties, including preparing specialised coffee drinks as needed
- Clear tables, clean work areas, and ensure the front of house is tidy at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Uphold the establishment’s standards of hospitality and customer care
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is desirable
- Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus
- Experience in serving or food presentation will be advantageous
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively setting
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
