Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. Must ideally have previous experience in cashing up after service & ideally previous experience in locking up a premises.
Must have a Full UK Driving License
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a courteous manner
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Support barista duties if applicable, preparing coffee and speciality drinks with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Must be a quick learner & have great work morale with a "can do attitude"
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Experience in a restaurant environment or food safety certification is advantageous
- Barista experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques will be considered a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests of diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in customer service
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
