Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at WestCountry Foodservice in Falmouth. This role will require a 4.30 a.m. start and will include weekend work. 5 or 6 days available.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver fresh produce across Cornwall
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to retail and catering clients.
- Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required.
- Uphold high standards of customer service during every interaction.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role. (Preferred but not essential.)
- Valid driving license suitable for commercial vehicles.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.(No more than 6 points)
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely. (Max 25kg)
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Cornwall road network preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
