Join our dynamic team as a Skilled Rail - Civils Track Operative and be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing a train maintenance depot. You will be actively involved in track maintenance and civil works. Monday to Friday 07.00 -16.00 some weekend may be a requirement. PTS certification albeit not essential , manual handling , small track & hand power tool tickets
Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of railway track components, including sleepers, rails, and ballast.
- Follow strict safety protocols at all times to protect yourself and colleagues during civil works on active rail lines.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in railway civil engineering or track maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Valid driving license with experience operating relevant machinery or vehicles used in civil track works.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear instructions and teamwork in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.
Pay: £144.00 per day
