About Us
The Kings Head Inn is located just 8 miles from Norwich city centre in the picturesque village of Brooke. We are a 5-star inn with a 2-Rosette restaurant, serving seasonal, organic dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. Many of our vegetables and meats are supplied by our own supporting farm, ensuring exceptional quality.
Our venue also features two fully stocked bars, a gastro dining restaurant, a spacious function room, and five luxury guest bedrooms.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is eager to develop their skills in a professional, award-winning kitchen.
Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing your section, preparing high-quality dishes, and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Take responsibility for your designated section during service.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation, and ordering.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Help train and support junior members of the kitchen team.
- Ensure all dishes are presented to the highest standard.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
- A passion for fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- A positive attitude and strong team player.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Good spoken English.
