Zahouani Properties is a serviced accommodation company with a growing portfolio of high-quality properties across East London. We have recently expanded by opening our own in-house cleaning department and are looking for a reliable, experienced cleaner to join our team.
Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated cleaner to maintain one of our serviced accommodation properties to a high standard, with the opportunity to take on additional properties as our portfolio and cleaning department grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and preparing properties following our cleaning program & procedures
- Changing and making beds to a high standard
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning tasks
- Monitoring stock levels (toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.) and reporting when supplies are low
- Taking clear photos of any damages or issues and reporting them immediately
- Ensuring the property is ready for guest check-ins at all times
- Communicating effectively via phone, message, or WhatsApp
- Following checklists to ensure nothing is missed
Working Hours:
- You must be available between 10am – 5pm (guest check-out/in times vary)
- Typical cleaning shifts are 10am – 12:30/1pm, depending on workload and efficiency
- Flexibility is important, as some days may require slightly longer hours
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive and reliable attitude – someone who takes pride in their work
- Previous cleaning experience (hotel, serviced accommodation, or similar preferred)
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Punctuality – being on time is essential
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- Good communication skills via phone/WhatsApp
What We Provide:
- All cleaning supplies and equipment (kept onsite in a locked cupboard)

Contract Type: Zero-hour contract (flexible hours, work offered as required)
Pay: Starting from £14 per hour, with increases based on experience and performance
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
