About the Role:
Leeds is a thriving hub of tech innovation, and at Alhamd Technology UK Ltd, we bring that same energy to high-availability cloud platforms. We build enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure that is as resilient as it is performant. We believe that internal developer platforms should empower teams, not slow them down. We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer who can take ownership of our cloud environments. You aren't just writing scripts; you are defining our Infrastructure as Code and automation strategy. You will bridge the gap between complex software design and reliable cloud operations, acting as the advocate for system stability and fast delivery in a fast-paced development culture.
Why Work With Us?
- The Environment: Located in the heart of Leeds' vibrant tech scene, we cultivate a modern, flexible, and supportive workspace.
- Engineering Maturity: We don't need to be convinced that DevOps matters. Automation and reliability are baked into our DNA from Day 1.
- Modern Stack: We work with AWS, Azure, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, maintaining a cutting-edge cloud architecture.
- Growth: Continuous learning is key. You will have opportunities to upskill, earn modern cloud certifications, and attend industry tech events to keep your skills sharp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Ownership: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments using AWS or Azure.
- CI/CD Automation: Lead the end-to-end design and optimization of deployment pipelines to enable fast, secure code releases.
- Infrastructure as Code: Write clean, maintainable Terraform or Ansible modules to ensure complete infrastructure repeatability.
- Container Orchestration: Manage Docker containerization and Kubernetes cluster health to ensure continuous platform availability.
- Monitoring & Security: Implement robust logging, alerting, and security guardrails to maintain platform performance and compliance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years in a DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering role with hands-on production experience.
- Tooling: Proficiency with Cloud Providers (AWS/Azure), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
- CI/CD & Scripting: Strong understanding of continuous integration tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Language Skills: English (Fluent) for effective collaboration with cross-functional development teams and stakeholders.
- Mindset: You are pragmatic. You know how to balance quick iterations with deep technical precision to keep platforms stable.
Pay: £55,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
