Smart Tiles are the largest stockist of tiles and wood flooring in Cumbria and are currently looking to recruit a reliable and trustworthy person to work as a warehouse assistant.
This is an important role within the company and requires the a suitably motivated person.
The Job
Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week.
- Preparing customer orders.
- Maintaining a clean & safe warehouse.
- Loading & unloading customer orders.
- Preparing Samples for dispatch.
- Dealing with Goods-In and Goods-Out.
- Marking and labelling stock.
- Forklift use for goods in and out.
- Stock Control.
- Assist in unloading deliveries and checking in products.
- Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.

The Person
The successful candidate must be honest, enthusiastic and proactive. To be considered for this role you will also be:

- Self motivated and able apply logic to every task.
- A team player.
- A friendly disposition.
- Have good communication skills.
- Able to handle heavy goods (boxes of tiles, bathroom products, wood flooring) strong & fit.
- Driving licence essential.
- Forklift licence an advantage.
