HGV Driver Class 2 - Leeds
We’re currently recruiting for a full-time Class 2 driver, at our Leeds depot. The role will include multi drop delivery of orders to our independent/commercial customers. You will be working as part of a key supportive team within the depot, where you will take ownership for loading your lorry and then ensuring the delivery of a customer’s order while providing excellent customer service with a positive, problem-solving response to individual customer needs.

What will you be doing as a Class 2 (Cat C) Delivery Driver?
· Multidrop delivery of customers’ orders including pallet drops in an organised and timely fashion
· Loading your lorry according to your daily route whilst following all CPC regulations
· Dealing with customer queries upon delivery
· Taking responsibility for the zone and lorry that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
· Supporting other departments as required
What do you need to be a Class 2 (Cat C) Delivery Driver?
· You must hold a Class 2 license (Cat C)
· You must have a good understanding of tachograph rules and regulations.
· Previous experience using forklift trucks/Moffett preferred but not essential.
· You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service
· Candidates must be CPC qualified and must not have more than 6 points on their license to be considered for the role
· Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
· Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets
