Key Responsibilities
Main duties and responsibilities will include;
Electronics Testing & Repair
- Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and component-level repair of electronic cards and assemblies.
- Document test results, failure modes, and repair history to ensure quality assurance and trend analysis.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace to ensure safe and efficient testing procedures.
Inventory Management & Digital Systems
- Manage and maintain the lab inventory tool, utilizing your coding knowledge to automate tracking, optimize database queries, or enhance reporting functionality.
- Execute daily inventory updates, including scanning, tagging, and cataloging new or repaired assets.
- Ensure 100\% accuracy in stock levels and asset location reporting within the digital management system.
Field Support: Control & Protection Cubicles
- Installation & Setup: Support the physical installation of control and protection cubicles in the field.
- Wiring & Connectivity: Perform professional-grade laying and termination of fiber optic cables and copper control wiring.
- Commissioning: Assist in the setup and configuration of cubicle hardware.
- System Upgrades: Execute firmware, software, and application updates to ensure systems are running on the latest versions and meeting performance specifications.

Work Experience
- Technical Education: Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Electronics Expertise: Strong foundation in reading circuit schematics, using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering stations.
- Coding/Software: Proven experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, or VBA) to support inventory tool development and data automation.
- Field Experience: Hands-on experience with fiber optic termination (splicing/polishing) and control wiring.
- Commissioning Knowledge: Familiarity with software/firmware flashing procedures and system configuration.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently in a lab or field environment, and a commitment to safety standards.
