Job Summary
You will be working largely on residential projects ranging from domestic extensions, new build houses to medium sized developments. We also undertake projects in the Education sector and some Commercial projects too.
You will work on a range of residential projects at from start to completion and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time. You will be meticulous in your working methods and will form an integral member of our small but growing team.

Responsibilities
· Communicating clearly and positively with other members of the project team, clients, external consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, advisory, statutory and other relevant bodies.
· Achieving and maintaining the company's quality standards entails ensuring that work undergoes thorough inspection and receives approval for quality from the director/office manager before departing from the office.
· Interact with clients to implement their plans and goals in their architectural project
· Operating standard internal project management and administrative systems - such as filing (project folder), printing, etc.
· Daily update of CRM system
· Drawing and sketching design solutions by hand
· Developing schemes using 2D and 3D computer CAD packages such as Archicad and Autocad
· Producing 3D images using CAD and rendering packages
· Preparing and developing layouts, elevations, cross sections in construction drawings.
· Producing /maintaining other documents using programmes such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop.
· Advising on materials, technology, processes and products (kitchens, bathrooms, etc.) involved in building design
· Carrying out dimensional surveys of buildings
· Providing general assistance in the office such as filing, maintaining project folders, keeping the working area tidy, etc.
· Researching products, materials, buildings etc as directed
· Participating in CPD presentations or external supplier visits.
· Following project progress from start till finish, being responsible to respond to client enquiries in a timely manner.
Experience
· Degree in Architecture or similar preferred
· Experience in BIM/CAD essential
· 3D Visualisation skills essential
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
· Live within a commutable distance of Sutton Coldfield
· Driving licence / access to a car essential
· Confident, proactive and a highly organised team player
· Strong design ability & graphic skills
· Good communication skill and a proactive approach with clients

Pay: £20,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
