Are you an experienced marketplace compliance professional with a passion for protecting brands, resolving complex marketplace issues and ensuring regulatory compliance?
We are looking for a Marketplace Compliance Lead with a minimum of 3 years' experience in marketplace compliance to take ownership of compliance across a catalogue of over 1 million SKUs traded on leading global marketplaces including Amazon, TikTok Shop, SHEIN, TEMU and eBay.
This is a key leadership role where you'll protect revenue, maintain marketplace account health, safeguard trading privileges and proactively manage compliance risks across multiple international marketplaces.
What You'll Be DoingMarketplace Compliance & Brand Protection
- Lead compliance activities across Amazon, TikTok Shop, SHEIN, TEMU, eBay and other online marketplaces.
- Ensure products comply with marketplace policies, intellectual property requirements and product safety regulations.
- Manage Brand Registry programmes and marketplace approvals.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation including safety certificates, declarations of conformity, manufacturer information and testing records.
Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance
- Identify and mitigate marketplace and regulatory risks before they impact trading.
- Monitor changes to UK, EU and international marketplace regulations.
- Develop and implement processes that ensure continued compliance.
- Escalate significant compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
Compliance Dispute Resolution
- Lead investigations into policy violations, intellectual property claims, listing suppressions and account health issues.
- Prepare compelling appeals, Plans of Action and supporting documentation.
- Work proactively to minimise trading disruption and secure reinstatement of listings and accounts.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Act as the business's subject matter expert for marketplace compliance.
- Build strong relationships with marketplace representatives, suppliers and internal departments.
- Provide leadership, guidance and quality oversight to offshore compliance team members.
- Drive continuous improvement across compliance processes and procedures.
What We're Looking For: Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in marketplace compliance within an e-commerce environment.
- Proven experience managing compliance across Amazon and other major marketplaces such as TikTok Shop, SHEIN, TEMU and eBay.
- Strong knowledge of marketplace policies, intellectual property rights, product compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrable experience handling:
- Intellectual Property claims
- Account Health management
- Listing compliance
- Product removals
- Marketplace disputes
- Appeals and reinstatements
- Experience preparing successful Plans of Action and resolving complex compliance issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading or coordinating offshore or remote teams.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial awareness with a strong focus on protecting revenue and minimising operational disruption.
