The Role
We are seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic to join our depot team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on PSV vehicles
- Diagnose faults and complete necessary repairs efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with DVSA and company safety standards
- Complete relevant documentation accurately
- Assist with inspections and preparation for MOT tests
Requirements
- Proven experience as a PSV/HGV mechanic
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Irtec/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance) preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (PSV licence advantageous but not essential)
