Moor Fabrications is an manufacturing company based in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. We specialise in the application of plastic manufacturing techniques, such as thermoplastic welding, pipe fusion, line-bending, machining and CNC operations. Our understanding of these processes allow us to apply the unique properties of engineering plastics to bespoke products, while working around the associated tooling costs of standard plastic moulding techniques.
As our field is relatively niche, we do not expect our new starters to have previous experience with our processes. We are willing to train anyone who has an understanding of technical drawings and an affinity for problem solving, developing them into independent technicians with excellent practical skills. Thermoplastic fusion techniques are clean and safe practices, which with a bit of patience and attention to detail, anyone can learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on work, including thermoplastic fusion processes and other common fabrication processes
- Working with the technical drawings made by our customers or in-house design team, to produce a wide range of equipment for a number of different industries.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to read technical production drawings
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Experience with basic hand and power tools (e.g. knives and routers)

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
