At The Mixing Jug, we’re building a fast-paced juice & coffee bar in the heart of Marlow and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Team Leader to help drive standards and support the team on shift.

What you’ll get

The role
- Hold final sign-off on opening and closing checklists on the shifts you lead
- Be first point of contact on the day for sickness, cover, supplier issues and customer situations
- Arrange cover and make the call on shift assignment
- Run the floor on collaboration and event days: supplier tastings, pop-ups, private bookings
- Set and hit clear shift targets on service speed, table clearing and checklist compliance
- Check supplier deliveries against the order and flag any discrepancy
- Spot-check drinks and food against standard through the shift, and correct in the moment
- Handle day-to-day performance conversations with the team directly
- Lead on-shift training, taking new and existing team members through the training modulesWhat we’re looking for. We hire on attitude first.
You’re:
- Confident leading by example on shift
- Reliable and accountable (this matters a lot)
- A strong communicator who supports and motivates others
- Comfortable making a decision on the spot and owning it
- Calm and organised in a busy environment
Hospitality experience helps but isn’t essential.
