Overview
We are looking for a team supervisor to join Jacksons The Bakers, you will oversee production during your shift, ensuring all daily tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your role will involve managing staff, monitoring production processes, maintaining quality control, and influencing a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction and support.
- Ensure all daily production tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor the quality of produced goods to ensure they meet company standards.
- Co-ordinate shift schedules and delegate tasks effectively.
- Provide on the job training and guidance to team members.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Communicate effectively with management.
- Prepare a variety of baked and savoury products.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure consistency and quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a bakery/butchers or similar food production environment, with some supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of equipment and food safety regulations (HACCP).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and problem solve under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy ingredients or equipment.
- Food safety: 2 years required
- Food production: 2 years required
- Baking: 2 years required

- 5 shifts a week
- Covering Sunday - Friday (with day off)

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
