Tamar Fresh Ltd presents a thrilling opportunity for a Vegetable Production Assistant within our family-operated Food Service Operation situated in Saltash, Cornwall.
This role offers a workweek spanning 40 hours, distributed across 5 shifts.
Working week consist of 5 shifts: Monday, wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7am to approx. 3pm and Saturday 6 am to approx 2pm.
Days off include Tuesday and sunday.
As a Vegetable Preparation Assistant, you will primarily engage in the preparation of vegetables along a production line. This involves utilizing an array of production machinery and equipment, as well as manual order preparation involving knife work, labelling, and accurate order storage. All tasks are to be executed in accordance with our established protocols and stringent food safety standards. The position necessitates substantial manual handling, requiring the prospective candidate to comfortably lift and carry 25kg products on a regular basis.
