HGV Class 2 Driver – Highway Maintenance
Location: Brent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (Weekend work available)
Pay:
- Monday to Friday: £17.00 - £21.91 per hour
- Weekends: £22.66 - £29.20 per hour
Pyramid Recruitment is currently seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a leading highway maintenance company specialising in permanent pothole repairs across the UK.
Working as part of a three-person crew, you will drive a specialist HGV Class 2 hopper vehicle to planned work sites where the team carries out permanent pothole repairs using modern spray injection patching technology. This role offers regular Monday to Friday daytime hours, with optional weekend work available at enhanced rates.
The Role
- Safely operate a specialist HGV Class 2 hopper vehicle.
- Work as part of a three-person crew carrying out planned highway maintenance.
- Drive to scheduled sites and support the team in delivering permanent pothole repairs.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure all work is carried out safely.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
Please note: There is no manual handling involved in this role.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous highway maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.
