Our Tech Support Specialists are responsible for resolving technical issues related to broken hardware and software.
Being personable, able to listen, understand, reassure and ultimately decide the best action to help the customer resolve the problem in the most efficient manner possible.
Technicians should be utilising their experience and extensive knowledge of operating systems, standard common hardware and software, to be be able to resolve a customers problem whether that's onsite or remotely.
Excellent customer facing skills are necessary as onsite visits are part of the role
We're looking for individuals who enjoy helping others and want to be a vital part of our growing service department.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose a problem and make recommendations for repair or replacement of faulty or damaged hardware and software components.
- Troubleshoot the operational problems of existing networks.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software related problems.
- Install, remove, and maintain peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, cameras, etc.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance procedures on computer hardware and software.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on wireless, wired, and networked computer systems.
