Role Purpose
We are inviting applications for the position of Storesperson, supporting the effective operation of the site’s materials, ingredients, and engineering stores. This role is essential to maintaining production flow, stock accuracy, and compliance within a food‑grade environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock control — Maintain accurate stock levels for raw materials, packaging.
- Goods receipting — Receive deliveries, verify documentation, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Inventory management — Complete cycle counts, stock rotation, and FIFO checks.
- Material issuing — Supply production and engineering teams with required items in line with operational needs.
- Warehouse organisation — Maintain a clean, safe, and audit‑ready stores environment.
- System updates — Record stock movements accurately to support traceability and reporting.
- Compliance — Follow all site safety, hygiene, and food‑grade handling procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in production, warehousing, or engineering support is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on a 12‑hour shift pattern.
- Good communication skills and confidence using stock or ERP systems.
- Forklift licence beneficial (training may be provided for suitable candidates).
- Understanding of FIFO, traceability, and food safety expectations.
- Experience of SAP would be desirable
