Ochil Tower School is seeking an enthusiastic and practical Assistant Gardener to support the care, conservation and development of our beautiful living environments, including herbaceous gardens, mature lawns, extensive hedging, mixed beds with ponds, woodland areas, a small field, walled gardens and a kitchen garden.
Working closely with the Head Gardener and the wider Estates and Facilities Team, you will assist with the day-to-day and seasonal maintenance of the school’s gardens, lawns, woodlands and outdoor spaces. Duties will include weeding, pruning, trimming, mowing, strimming, edging, composting, mulching, barrowing materials, leaf blowing, sweeping and power washing.

We are looking for someone with:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A positive, practical and team-focused approach
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and a willingness to follow safe working procedures
- A willingness to learn how to use and maintain horticultural machinery, such as ride-on mowers and hedge trimmers
- A Driving Licence
