Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team, providing essential support in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness and organisation. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with meal preparation and food service, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
- Support in catering activities and help with kitchen organisation.
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking as required, following recipes or instructions.
- Maintain hygiene standards in food preparation areas and ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained.
- Serve meals to residents or guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Organise storage areas for cleanliness and efficiency.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
Skills
- Experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation and food safety regulations.
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when serving residents or guests.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
