Overview
We are seeking a qualified HGV Road Sweeper Driver Class 2 to join our team. This role involves operating specialised road sweeping vehicles to maintain cleanliness and safety on public roads, building sites and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 2 licence.
Monday to Friday 9 hour basic shift - 45 hours per week with overtime available every day paid at time and a half. Your own dedicated truck.

Duties
- Safely operate HGV road sweeping vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Carry out scheduled cleaning routes across designated areas, including urban streets and industrial zones.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment or materials when necessary, utilising flatbed or specialised attachments.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including route logs and vehicle checks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise route efficiency and service delivery.
Skills
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed or specialised vehicles such as road sweepers.
- Prior delivery driver experience is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed routes and schedules.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations.
- Physically fit, capable of performing manual tasks associated with vehicle operation and maintenance.
