Summary
We are seeking a Cleaner to join our team at First Steps Preschool. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our children, ensuring that our facilities are safe and welcoming. Your contribution is vital to supporting our mission of providing exceptional early childhood education. Working hours 6-8pm weekdays. You will be working alongside another cleaner.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness in classrooms, play areas, and common spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used safely according to guidelines.
- Follow health and safety regulations to provide a hygienic environment for children.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Work with a second cleaner, sharing tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred.
- Ability to work with another cleaner and manage time efficiently.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
