(Decontamination Nurse): Lead Cross Infection Nurse
We’re also looking for a candidate trained in decontamination procedures, who can take on the Decontamination Dental Nurse role. You will be responsible for:
- Sterilisation and disinfection of all dental instruments and equipment according to HTM 01-05 standards
- Maintaining and testing decontamination equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic baths, washer disinfectors)
- Accurate record-keeping of daily, weekly, and monthly decontamination audits
- Ensuring compliance with infection prevention protocols
- Supporting training and awareness of cross-infection control within the practice
What We’re Looking For:
- A Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration or similar health care role (Must be HEP B Vaccinated)
- Training and understanding of HTM 01-05 and cross-infection control protocols
- A compassionate individual dedicated to excellent patient care
- Basic computer literacy
- Organised, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Flexible, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities where needed

Pay: £12.71-£13.95 per hour
