An established consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Design Engineer to join its growing team.
The successful candidate will support the management and delivery of a diverse range of highway and infrastructure projects across sectors including town and city regeneration, retail developments, supermarkets, residential developments and urban extensions, education, healthcare, commercial offices, and distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver a variety of highway and infrastructure design projects.
- Design and oversee Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes from inception through to completion.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors and the wider design team.
- Attend site visits, monitor construction works and make proactive engineering decisions.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' UK experience in an infrastructure design role.
- Proven experience delivering Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes, including managing the approvals process.
- Experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and designing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in line with current standards and guidance.
- Strong understanding of Section 104 and Section 106 drainage agreements.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience supervising and monitoring construction works on site.
- Confident in a client-facing role with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoTrack, PDS, PDS Line, PDS Sign & Causeway Flow.
- Experience with MicroDrainage and Lighting Reality would be advantageous but is not essential.
Pay: £28,775.95-£62,178.23 per year
