Trade Recruit is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Sheffield for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver / Car Transporter Driver to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

The Role
You'll be responsible for collecting and delivering vehicles nationwide using a 7.5 tonne car transporter and trailer, ensuring every vehicle is transported safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne car transporter with trailer.
- Carry out nationwide vehicle collections and deliveries.
- Load, secure and unload vehicles safely.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Accurately complete electronic delivery documentation.
- Ensure all vehicles are transported with the highest level of care.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Comply with all DVSA regulations, driving legislation and company health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid C1+E driving licence (no restriction code).
- No licence restrictions.
- Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
- Car transporter experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Willingness to work away from home when required, including overnight stays.
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and vehicle safety.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
