Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sports Therapist / Physiotherapist to join our team for Saturday and evening shifts. Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, developing tailored treatment programmes for individual patients.
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, mobilisation, and exercise prescription, to optimise recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective rehabilitation.
- Provide specialised care for paediatric patients, ensuring age-appropriate therapy approaches.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinical standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth recovery processes.
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health benefits.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in sports therapy and physiotherapy practices through continuous professional development.
Skills
- Experience working with paediatric patients is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to sports therapy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
