About the Role:
Due to continued expansion, Loaden Haulage Ltd are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves operating walking floor trailers, transporting a range of materials including biomass, wood waste, RDF/SRF, recycled products and other bulk loads throughout the UK. Regular nights out will be required (typically 3–4 per week), although we will always aim to get you home where possible. Night out money is on top of the salary range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 HGV with a walking floor trailer.
- Transport bulk materials to customer sites across the UK.
- Operate the walking floor discharge system safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported in compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
- Comply with all drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous walking floor experience is preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and transport legislation.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and time management skills.

Pay: £42,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
