Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer with 5+ years' PQE or equivalent looking for a role offering quality work, genuine responsibility and strong team support?
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX Legal Executive to join a growing Residential Property team in Sheffield.
This is an ideal opportunity for a confident conveyancer who is comfortable managing their own files with minimal supervision, while still benefiting from a collaborative team environment and a manageable caseload.
The Role
You will take ownership of your own residential conveyancing caseload, providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the transaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Handling a broad range of residential property transactions
- Taking matters from initial instruction through to exchange and completion
- Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documentation
- Dealing with property searches, enquiries and title issues
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professional advisers
- Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and within required timescales
- Maintaining accurate and compliant case files
- Providing excellent client care and regular communication
- Working closely with support staff and colleagues
- Contributing positively to team performance and service delivery
- Managing your workload effectively while maintaining a high standard of work
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced and technically capable Residential Conveyancer who can confidently manage their own caseload.
You will ideally have:
- At least 5 years' PQE or equivalent experience
- Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX Legal Executive
- Strong experience in Residential Conveyancing
- Proven ability to manage your own files with minimal supervision
- Good technical knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A strong focus on client care
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- A professional, proactive and commercially aware approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
