The Job
This role, based remotely or at the Company's Head Office in Chessington, will support the Director of Buying to ensure the customer proposition and stock management achieves market leading status.
Specific responsibilities include:
Purchase order creation and communication with internal and external suppliers
Amendment of purchase orders as necessary, post supplier feedback
Ensuring deliveries are received into the warehouse & booked onto stock management system
Reconciling supplier cost prices on invoice to purchase order
Following up on any outstanding orders with suppliers for ETA
Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery shortages and obtaining appropriate credits where applicable
General Product file maintenance: Setting up new products (cost/retail/product description/barcodes)
Communicating quarterly faulty returns to suppliers and obtaining relevant credit
Compiling market intelligence to ensure best cost is being obtained
Work collaboratively across wider Flavour Warehouse group to ensure scale is being leveraged
The Person
To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and qualities:
Excellent PC skills, including MS office and Excel (intermediate to advanced).
High level of numeracy and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capable of managing own workload and prioritising accordingly
A strong, proactive team worker
Flexible and enthusiastic
Well organised and able to work well under pressure
Previous experience in a similar role for a FMCG retailer, and experience or interest in Vaping/CBD, will be an advantage but are not essential.

Our Support Centre and offices are based in Chessington, we are happy to support remote working but there will be expectations to attend in person meetings with suppliers and colleagues when required.

Job Type: Full-time – 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
We will also consider candidates who wish to work part time on a pro-rated basis.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
