As a Paralegal, you will work with a team of partners, solicitors, and paralegals in Anthony Gold's Court of Protection department.
Your role will include the following, but additional tasks may be added as appropriate for the role:

To assist in the provision of administrative and legal services for clients.

To assist, where requested, in the provision of legal advice to clients, under supervision. Take notes in client meetings.

Attend clients at hospitals, care homes and in their home.

Make regular payments to clients and keep accurate schedules of these payments. Also forecast forward spending and creating of budgets.

Day-to-day contact with clients and their individual lifestyle requirements.

Manage professionally and confidentially, written and telephone correspondence with clients, other solicitors and third parties

Delegate and supervise tasks where appropriate.

Work as a part of a team under the supervision of a Partner of the firm.

May also receive cases from several Partners and solicitors within the team.

Provide an efficient and friendly service to our clients.

Produce plain English letters, witness statements, court applications, and other documents as required.

Maintain client care standards as set out in the firm’s terms of business and office manual.

A degree in Law and previous experience working in a Court of Protection role is preferred but not essential
