Job Summary
To be responsible for project specific, weekend shift work (Friday - Sunday)
Seek ways to improve processes and performance in line with company continuous improvement program.
· To follow direction and instructions from the Manufacturing Supervisor or Team Leader.
· Be familiar with and able to use plant for MAG and TIG welding process.
· Follow drawings and paperwork provided and notify of any discrepancies.
· Weld equipment to the required level to meet customer expectation of quality
· Responsible for producing high quality/integrity products.
· Ability to fabricate, demonstrate skills relating to measuring, drilling, cutting etc
Key Skills Required
· Previous shop floor experience
· Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings
· Understanding of the quality standards expected from Wozair products
· Health & Safety conscious
· Problem solving skills
· Good communication skills with staff & key business stakeholders
· To identify and suggest solutions to problems
Education & Experience
· Experience in fabrication and welding workshops
· City & Guilds or equivalent welding qualification
· Forklift truck license beneficial, but not essential
· Overhead crane or jib crane certificate beneficial, but not essential

Hours
36-hour week
Friday-Sunday 6.00am – 6.30pm (1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
