We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medication following prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Manage behaviour and provide emotional support for individuals
- Monitor health status and report any concerns or changes in condition to healthcare professionals
Skills
- Strong patient care skills
- Ability to administer medication accurately
- Physical capability to assist clients with mobility needs
- Organised with good time management skills to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes and reporting.
- A compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or health & social care
- Access to own vehicle
Successful applicants will need to pass an enhanced DBS check before they can begin employment.
