Overview
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your project management skills within a professional environment. T
Initial involvement will be to support project delivery team in the successful delivery of projects, over time the individual will gain project management experience to mature in to a project manager, through on the job experience and an increase in duties and exposure to the full business
The Individual will gain experience in estimating, project management, construction management and commercial management of construction project
Hybrid structures specialize in timber and mixed material solutions so there will be a large verity of product knowledge in terms of steel, decking, Glulam, CLT LVL timber cassettes and the impact that these materials have on each other – on the job training will be given on all these products.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Assist in the delivery of schemes
- Assist the project manager
- Attend and contribute to design team meetings
- Attend and review progress on site
- Develop an understand and read construction drawings and models
- Create procurement lists
- Analysis and understand offers from suppliers
- Monitor performance of the project and development of a project.
- Produce accurate, clear, detailed project updated information.
- identify of project risks and provide workable solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Develop a relationship with clients to achieve the optimum outcome for the Company whilst preserving long term relationships.
Estimating
- Read and understand enquiry documentation for formulating tenders.
- Understand and interpret schedules produced from 3D models.
- Use 3d models to gather information for own or other purpose
- Create tender method statements and programmes.
- Support the pricing of tenders as required.
- Attend post tender meetings with clients to discuss submitted tenders, keeping detailed records of discussions and responding to all actions as required.
- Complete a full written tender document including risk mitigation, clarifications, qualifications, pricing details, terms and conditions and specifications etc.
- Attend pre-bid / mid-bid meetings with clients and engineers, keeping detailed records of discussions.

Education
- BEng in Engineering Project Management or BSc (Hons) in Construction Management.
- Alternatively, an HNC in Construction Project Management combined with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
Pay: £24,420.00-£44,875.18 per year
