Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Apprentice to join our friendly early years team! This is a 40 hour a week contract.
As part of our setting, you will play a key role in providing a safe, stimulating ,and nurturing environment where every child can learn, explore and thrive.

Qualification Bonus
Where you successfully complete a relevant qualification whilst employed with the organisation and remain in employment, you may be eligible for a qualification bonus. This is intended to recognise both your achievement and your ongoing commitment to the organisation.
Recommend a Friend Bonus- £500 for each referral!!!
If you recommend a candidate who is subsequently employed by the organisation and successfully completes their probationary period, you will receive a referral bonus of £200. This payment will be made through payroll following the successful completion of probation.
Duties
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through engaging activities and personalised attention
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, dressing, and hygiene tasks
- Organise educational activities that promote early childhood development and learning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent care and effective communication regarding each child's progress
- Manage behavioural issues with patience and professionalism, fostering positive behaviour
- Lead by example in promoting organisational values centred around child safety, inclusion, and respect
Skills
- Proven experience with children, including childcare or nursery experience
- Strong management and leadership capabilities to oversee daily activities effectively
- Knowledge of early years foundation framework
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- To be well organised, and ability to undertake everyday tasks.
- Competence in managing behavioural challenges with sensitivity
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst demonstrating initiative
