Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labourer/ Trainee Scaffolder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping the team, constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures that provide safe access for workers on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, as well as the ability to work effectively and efficiently, learning new techniques tools & materials. Candidate must have a strong focus for learning new skills.
Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading materials working in a team, to Construct and erect scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Main duties to begin with will mostly be labouring on a team of scaffolders. Learning valuable new skills along your journey.
- Organise materials within our depot, loading unloading vehicles. Arranging equipment for planned projects. Housekeeping and maintenance of materials within our depot.
- Learn skills such as- Ensure all scaffolding is level, plumb, and secure for safe use.
- Dismantle scaffolding upon project completion while ensuring all components are accounted for.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, to facilitate smooth operations on-site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Must work well in a team environment.
- A CSCS card is a must.
- Have a strong initiative and be willing to understand and learn new skills.
- Experience on construction sites is preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of the scaffolding industry is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights safely.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on-site.
- Scaffolding is generally an all weather trade, the ability to work in some not so pleasant weather conditions.
- Full uk drivers licence is preferred but not necessary.
- Hgv licence is very advantageous

Under 21, pay may differ Slightly. Rates of pay are negotiable.
We do offer apprenticeship roles to any candidate of any age who meets all of our criteria. This will allow you to achieve your full CISRS Part Two scaffold qualification. This is subject to the individuals progression with our organisation.

Pay: £10.85-£13.50 per hour
