Job Overview:
The Elm Tree offers a professional and friendly working environment. We are an adult only hotel with 13 bedrooms. Standards are high and attention to detail is essential in this role. Working as a team is important and on the job training will be provided. Opportunities to increase hours in breakfast service is available.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all assigned rooms and common areas according to established standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and sweep/mop floors
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, in a hospitality or hotel setting is essential
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
